World of Children Award is currently inviting applications for its 2016 Grants Program. Travel and accommodations will be arranged and paid for by World of Children Award.

3) Announcement
We announce our newest class of Honorees each year around September. All other Nominees are notified of their status by this time.
IYPORTAL, we’re dedicated to helping young people succeed. We open doors for youth with a holistic approach that emphasizes life skills in combination with a mix of technical, vocational, and entrepreneurship training. As a result, young people are prepared to enter the workforce, create their own opportunities, and be agents of change in their communities.

The Nomination process consists of the following steps:1) Nomination Grant Application
After creating an account, you will be taken to the Nomination Grant Application, which consists of two separate forms:
- The About the Nominator form asks for some basic information about you, the Nominator.
- The Nomination Form consists of all the questions you need to answer in order to Nominate someone for an Award. When you have completed these two forms, you will submit them for review.
After your Nomination is submitted, our rigorous review process begins. If we need more information about your Nominee, we will contact you by email.
3) Announcement
We announce our newest class of Honorees each year around September. All other Nominees are notified of their status by this time.

All Nominees must be able to attend the Awards Ceremony in November, 2017 in order to be considered for an Award.
- January 6, 2017 – Nominations open online
- April 1, 2017 (at 11:59 pm EDT) – Nominations close
- April – August 2017 – Review & Investigative Process
- September 2017 – Honorees announced
- November 2, 2017 – Annual Awards Ceremony in New York City

- Which World of Children Award category best suits the work of your Nominee?
- What is the mission statement and work of your Nominee’s organization?
- What is the organization’s nonprofit/charity registration information?
- What tangible impact does your Nominee’s work have on children?
- What is the source of motivation for this Nominee?
- Why is this Nominee truly exceptional?
- How would your Nominee use World of Children Award grant funding to improve the lives of children?
